We’re having a fab time here at Ingestre.
On Tuesday evening we had the chance to see Ingestre’s WW1 interactive field hospital which was fabulous. We were able to dress up and hear lots of people’s stories from WW1.
Yesterday we finally found the punching tree and spent time polishing our performances ready for our showcase tonight. We watched Big Hero 6 in Ingestre’s 3D cinema- we all chilled on the beanbags with our tuck! It was lovely. We were all in bed by 10.30 and didn’t get up until 8 this morning!!
Today we are having our final rehearsals before our sharing session this evening! We’re having a disco tonight which is really exciting!
We’ll post some disco snaps later!
We just wanted to give you a quick update on what we have been doing our first two days here at Ingestre Hall! We’re all settled and enjoying the food- especially the desserts!
Yesterday we met our course tutors and got to know what we will do in our Arts Mark Award. We went on a night walk around the grounds with our torches, we tried to find the punching tree but it was a little harder to find in the dark!!
All children were in bed and asleep by 11.30 which was fab! Today we have been in our groups developing ideas and we have shared some of our fantastic work this evening!! We will update again tomorrow with some more of the fun things we have been up to!
Firstly a huge thanks to Mrs Ives who organised the day and to all the adults that were able to help.
Thanks to all the parents that were able to attend one of the the sports day sessions and we hope you enjoyed it as much as the staff and children did. A special thanks to the parents that took part in our parent races throughout the day, we appreciate your effort and the children loved seeing you all get involved!
We would love to hear your comments and suggestions about how the day ran, please leave a ‘reply/comment’ to this post. Photos to follow in the next few days!
Thank you for your support,
