After a hard week of rehearsing and performing we finished off our Caribbean concert with a beach party morning. We had a great time and as you can see the sun shone for us…..maybe not as hot as the Caribbean but almost warm enough for Mrs Lloyd to take off her jumper!
If you look carefully you’ll spot Mr Kennard doing his moves like Jagger impression. Nice shirt sir!
Well done to all of the Year 4 clarinet players who put on a fantastic performance today.
They were joined in the concert by violin players from years 2 and 3, and clarinet players from year 5 and 6 who have lessons with music teachers from SIPS.
Well done to everyone who took part!
The children in Reception had lots of fun learning about Eid. We listened to stories and some of the children told us about how their families celebrate.
On Friday afternoon we had an Eid celebration. The children had cakes and samosas, danced, played with lots and lots of balloons, and made Eid cards. Afterwards we all said ‘Eid Mubarak’ to the mums that had organised the event and everyone had sweets and a balloon to take home. It was lots of fun!
Year 2 have been learning to write computer code with Mr Kennard.
We have been using code.org to help us with our learning.
If your child would like to show you what they can do, or do a little more at home, the links to our work can be found in the pdf document attached.
