Well done Year 2! The children in year 2 have been really busy making and designing their very own fire engines. The project is linked with our history topic on The Great Fire of London. The children looked at fire engines from the past, identifying the main features and then at modern day engines. The children did a great job of designing their own and then making them, even using a saw (still got all ten fingers……some of them!)

The children will have no English home work now until the second week back in the new year. The English will continue to go out on Wednesday and returned by the following Monday.
