Children in Y1 have been busy making paper chains and snowflake decorations to bring Christmas joy to Sandwell hospital. Please take a look at the photos below.
Year 2 have worked very hard with their DT project this term. We linked the topic to our Fire of London work that we did in history last term. The children have designed their own modern day engines. They have worked really hard and i’m very pleased with them. Well done kids!!
In year 1, we have been trying to solve tricky sudoku puzzles. Dylan worked this one out in no time at all!!
Well done to Ferndale’s choir who raised £300 which will be matched by the Government making a grand total of £600 towards the Ebola crisis.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all family and friends that have supported us this year.
Well done Mrs Robathan and your little troupe!!!
Year 1 and Year 2 went on a visit to St Pauls church this week (also known as Bethlehem!!!). On the way we met the three kings and some shepherds.
They told us that they were on their way to Bethlehem to see a new born baby.
Once we arrived, we had to pay our taxes!
Before we found baby Jesus, we saw a donkey that looked very tired – we wasn’t sure why…
We finally found baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph in a stable.
