Opportunities for Volunteers

If you are looking for a rewarding experience, we have plenty of opportunities for any parents/carers or friends of Ferndale Primary School who wish to become more involved with the school. We are always on the look-out for volunteers to help with many different activities, for example:

• Reading with children
• Sporting activities
• Assisting on trips and educational visits
• Gardening
• Any help or skills you are able to offer would be greatly appreciated.

We love to have volunteers helping in school they really add to the life of the school. If you would like to volunteer, please get in touch via the school office on 0121 357 3326 or by emailing admin@ferndale.sandwell.sch.uk. Somebody will be in touch and send you an application form to complete.

We require all volunteers to hold an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and where applicable a prohibition check, we can provide this for you. We will also need two references from colleagues or people who know you.
