Well Done!!!
Class 1T have been working very hard this term making their houses!
In our topic lessons we have been learning all about different types of homes and talking about what makes them different. We have also learnt about the different features of houses and added these to our masterpieces!
Firstly a huge thanks to Mrs Ives who organised the day and to all the adults that were able to help.
Thanks to all the parents that were able to attend one of the the sports day sessions and we hope you enjoyed it as much as the staff and children did. A special thanks to the parents that took part in our parent races throughout the day, we appreciate your effort and the children loved seeing you all get involved!
We would love to hear your comments and suggestions about how the day ran, please leave a ‘reply/comment’ to this post. Photos to follow in the next few days!
Thank you for your support,
Ferndale Primary
Year 2 had a fabulous time on Sunday doing their horse riding activity day .. The children were so excited to share their experiences when they came back to school.
The children had to complete several activities, but their highlights were
- round the world!!!
- jumping over the horse and the running race!!!!
- racing the horses!!!!
sounds like they had loads of fun!!!!
Well done children and thank you to the staff who went along!
Our topic work this term has been all about houses and homes. In Design Technology we have all made our own houses adding the features we have been learning about. It took us about 3 weeks and we have had lots of fun!
Check out the pictures below…
Last night the choir and some instrumentalists performed at Wesley Church in West Bromwich to a sell out audience!
The children did an amazing job and me and Mrs Collett are very proud of you all.
Well done for all your hard work. There were sooooo many lovely comments from members of the audience, you really represented the school.
Well! The garden has provided year 2 with their first lot of salad. The children dug up the radishes and lettuce, it was washed and prepared and the children had loads of fun trying them.
Some of the children were a little bit nervous about trying them but all had a really good try. The radishes were very tasty even a little bit hot, but we thought the lettuce needed a bit of dressing on!!!!!!
Watch this space for more produce!!!!
