We would like to say a HUGE thank you to parents for your support and generosity this week in helping us raise money for our trip to the theatre. We raised £491 as a phase which is absolutely fantastic!
We all had fun throughout the week enjoying breakfast before school each day and we thoroughly enjoyed our day dressed as pirates! Mrs. Robathan even made some teachers walk the plank!
Well done to all Year 2 children who took part in the concert!
All of you looked amazing and sung your hearts out!
Well Done!!!
Firstly a huge thanks to Mrs Ives who organised the day and to all the adults that were able to help.
Thanks to all the parents that were able to attend one of the the sports day sessions and we hope you enjoyed it as much as the staff and children did. A special thanks to the parents that took part in our parent races throughout the day, we appreciate your effort and the children loved seeing you all get involved!
We would love to hear your comments and suggestions about how the day ran, please leave a ‘reply/comment’ to this post. Photos to follow in the next few days!
Thank you for your support,

The children had to complete several activities, but their highlights were
sounds like they had loads of fun!!!!
Well done children and thank you to the staff who went along!
Well! The garden has provided year 2 with their first lot of salad. The children dug up the radishes and lettuce, it was washed and prepared and the children had loads of fun trying them.
Some of the children were a little bit nervous about trying them but all had a really good try. The radishes were very tasty even a little bit hot, but we thought the lettuce needed a bit of dressing on!!!!!!
Watch this space for more produce!!!!

Year 2 have begun their garden project. The class were very busy digging up the weeds from last year and getting the tubs ready for the new seeds.
The children have studied new life in science, this project will help them understand the lifecycle of a plant and give them very useful life skills, as well as developing team work.
The children are going to help water and look after the seeds they have planted and hopefully in the summer enjoy the radishes, strawberries, peas, onions and many more when they have grown.
Watch this space for more developments!!!!!!
